The Anunnaki: Fallen Angels, Ancient Gods… or Aliens?

Who—or what—were the Anunnaki?

Ancient Mesopotamian texts describe supernatural beings, divine councils, mysterious knowledge, antediluvian sages and gods who interacted with humanity.

Modern theories have taken those stories in a very different direction, claiming the Anunnaki were extraterrestrials who came to Earth from a mysterious planet called Nibiru.

But what do the ancient texts actually say?And how does all of this compare with the Bible's descriptions of the sons of God, the Nephilim, fallen angels, divine councils and the unseen spiritual realm?

In this episode of Nessie & Nephilim, we dig into:Who the Anunnaki actually wereAnu, Enlil, Enki and InannaThe mysterious Apkallu and the seven antediluvian sagesAdapa and the idea of hidden knowledge
